Biography

Věra  LIKÉROVÁ  - Soprano

 

 

Born in 1981 she started her musical career in 1989  at  Art School  in Prague /flute, piano and singing/. Among her first big successes belongs the role of “Little Cosette” in musical Les Misèrable she performed in 1992.

 

In 2002 she started the regular study of opera singing at Prague Conservatory in the class of prof. A. Denygrova and afterwards in the class of prof. Y. Skvarova.

 

In April 2005 she took part at  chambre concert of  Czech Philharmonic Orchestra together with Wihan Quartet, Kapralova Quartet and K. Englichova.

 

In July 2005 she performed at Festival of Smetana’s Litomysl, together with Wihan Quartet  and Prazak Quartet.

 

In May 2006 performed at Czech Musical Youth Festival – “ Musical days in Prague – Mozart forever”.

 

In 2006 and 2007 she performed at final concerts of best singers of  “Singers Market” /organized by State Opera Prague./

 

In March 2007 she took part in “Master singing courses” leded by prof. P. Dvorsky and prof. M. Blahusiakova in Karlovy Vary.

 

 In June 2007 she sang the role of Susanne by Mozart /Marriage of Figaro/ within the “Prague Conservatory graduates performance”.

 

Since 2007 she is a singing guest of the State Opera Prague and since 2008 is a singing guest  in Pilsen’s Theatre and Liberec´s Theatre.

 

In August 2008 she won second price in International Singing Competition „Ad honorem Mozart“ in Prague.

 

In July 2009 she sang in International Musical Festival in Cesky Krumlov (cooperation with Ceske Budejovice´s Theatre) with conductor J. Keenan (MET) (Rusalka – Dvorak).

 

In August 2009 she won first price in International Singing Competition „Ad honorem Mozart“ in Prague.
